Management, motivation, coaching, game plan and tactics are down to the manager. Our position in the PL doesn't lie I afraid. I'd give Roy 9/10 for last season, but this season even 3/10 is being generous.
Schlupp on instead of Wickham? 3 Defensive midfielders at home? No subs until it's too late? The list can go on...

This ^^. Why move Zaha (who hasn't scored in 13 games) into the middle and bring on Schlupp? RH just seems clueless.

This season their buying seems astute! not before! just because they are having a strong season now doesn't mean they are doing things better then us, I bet when the season ends there will be just six to seven points between us.

Between the summer window and now they have brought in the following players :
Foster,Navarro,Masina,Wilmot,Sema,Quina.Deulofeu was purchased on a permanent deal but had been at the club last season on loan.

Foster has been an inspured purchase but the other ones who have done well for them this season were at the club last season including Doucoure,Pereyra,Cathcart,Capoue. etc etc.

I have even reached the point now where I don't give a monkeys about what happens in the rest of thís season or in the future.

Heard so much from the owners, directors and manager about where the club is supposed to be heading BUT IN FACT ... the ground is still an expensive to visit s*** hole, the team is persistently ineffective and unentertaining at home, there is still no effective forward line despite being it a problem for over half of this season, and we are nearly half way through this transfer window! ... bulls*** bulls*** and more bulls***.

We've brought in strikers in both of the last transfer windows. They may not have worked out, but it's not like we've been ignoring it.

We have indeed, Username, but my comment, "and the whole of last season" was appended to,"there is still no effective forward line despite being it a problem for over half of this season" so I think we are both correct.

Our strike force has been ineffective for 18 months but it's particularly noticeable this season. We need some new players in the current window, everyone could see that.

Prevaricating but simultaneously dishing out all the old excuses is just lame.

Ironically, the club tries to do its business on the cheap then pays out well over the odds on the last day of Jan '18 for a three legged donkey called Sorloth!

Will be honest and say I didn't see the game as at a family wedding!

Having just seen MOTD certainly seems as with the game at our player we were saved to some extent by Foster at vital moments and taking our chances when they came.

I think you'll be fine - despite lacking a forward with goals you create enough chances it seems to pick up points whereas teams at the bottom don't.

What makes you think anyone here cares what you think? Your team are just a bunch of thugs who are overachieving yet again!

Think with 4 legs he'd still struggle to score.

That list of players looks pretty good to me, let’s be honest we have done f*** all really in the transfer windows for 2 years. Last season RLC was a lone, which came good in the last 3 months.

Our multi million dollar owners, have gone very quiet unlike their President....

Still confused why we start with 3 defensive minded midfielders at home to Watford? And no room for our creative German.....quite not get it what Roy H is up to some times. From winning in Manchester to this dross!

I wonder what the score could have been if Foster had been playing for us ..
