Some folk need to have a word with themselves. First clean sheet & first point away from home against a team in 10th when we’re bottom of the league. If it wasn’t the weed most would be happy with that. Derbies are rarely as good as they should be & I saw two teams cancelling each other out. Stats say we had more chances/shots on goal than them so must have done something right. The double-save Ryan made from a Benteke & Wilf probably changed the game - if that had gone in we’d have won by two or three with them chasing the game. Pardew’s new team Saturday so let’s go & get 3 points from that one.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

Don't understand the negativity, first away point of the season, especially after the late goal on Saturday.

Not so disappointed with a point away from home against a well organised defensive team. We could have been hit on a break but we were organised enough not to let it happen. Well done the boys and on to Selhurst and WBA. COYP

I can't say confidently I'd ever be able to get over him turning us over. It's all of a sudden become a whole lot bigger.

RH has taken us on an amazing run, level on points now with Swansea. I would defo, settle for another point on Saturday against WBA, though this might be a challenge if Pardew is the WBA manager by then. He knows Palace pretty well. If he knew Palace pretty well he wouldn't have been sticking strikers on in the 80th minute when defending a one-goal lead, among all the other daft things he did. I'd think their best chance of getting anything from that game would be to pretend that Pardew is a stuffed teddy bear that was left behind after a school visit and do whatever it was Pulis was telling them to do before they stupidly booted him out. And we all have a fair idea what that would be.

we seriously need eight points from the next five games before facing the big boys again so fingers crossed. I really expecedt better from you kermit. After 7 games with us on zero points we were 5 behind swansea, 7 everton and west ham, 8 behind stoke and 9 behind WBA. Whose shoes would you rather be in now after this next seven?

2 clear pushes Neither of those were penalties. If they were given for that football would become a non contact sport.

Not much news on the 500 to 1000 palace fans locked out of the game tonight. Apparently, the police are blaming BHAFC for refusing admission. All I can see from the seaweed snowflakes is that they are very upset about a few flares being let off. Not a sensible thing to do on our part, but they make it sound like we are worse we unleashed some kind of Blitzkrieg on them. Perhaps, they are scared we opened the portal to the underworld. OTOH look at what counts as a penalty if Scott Dann is the defender involved. Since I've been banging on about refs giving things they think / imagine / guess / have deluded themselves into having seen it's difficult to complain about a pen not given unless it's totally stonewall and right in front of his face. And TBF he didn't give them one right at the end when a proper t*** might have done. I have no idea what I would have been like if we had lost that because of a bollocks penalty in the 88th minute. Still an arse for letting them persistently foul Wilf though but he's hardly in a minority there.

2 clear pushes Interesting. Annoying if so as the ref certainly had a better view than me. Zaha needs to get shot to get a pen these days.
