Personal abuse? I haven't seen any abuse from either myself or Stirling. Just stating what we think about each other which is a very low opinion of each other, which is fine. Also, you're correct, I haven't been keeping up, I don't have much free time on my hands so don't regulary post on here, or keep up to date with every post on every thread. Edited by Southampton_Eagle (12 Oct 2017 11.49am) Well fair enough....Though I don't know about a 'really low opinion', that's for you. I don't know you to really dislike you. I just occasionally react to you. So just to keep you up to date that status is long out of date...but I like it.....In a sense I am an ex teacher....My initial thoughts of what teaching was changed as I understood more about it. So I'm an ex that original teacher.....so when it was put up it was accurate for a short while (changing jobs) I like the status as a kind of private joke. When a street protest gets a counter street protest and then becomes an excuse for extremes in both crowds to have a punch up.....that's what annoys me about it. Better to just advance ideas politically. Hitting people over politics has never been ok. So while I don't count out joining a few protests, I'm wary of them.

Joey Barton? It's a rat race, sometimes you have to do whatever to pay the bills and put food on the table. I used to work Customer Relations for British Gas when I joined HOL. Can't sink any lower than that.

I particularly don't like it when you see young children in pushchairs at demos with signs around their necks with various slogans on - "support same sex marriage", "lift restrictions on abortion", "when do we want it?" etc. [Just a random selection of slogans - other slogans are available.] Edited by hedgehog50 (12 Oct 2017 2.36pm)
