Anyone hear Warnock on Talksport this morning? saying he was unhappy with the environment off the field at Palace when he was there and that Parish was too close to the players.

If Steve was only fulfilling the role of CEO and not an actual investor in the club, would people be looking at his performance over the last couple of years in a different light ?

Hopefully Freedmans appointment will put that extra layer between the Chairman and the squad...and perceived issues such as that would hopefully no longer be an issue. I was interested to hear Steve's perspective as to what "interfering with 1st team" issues meant (i.e. making signings) instead of alleged influencing of formations etc and listening to players issues. The latter is clearly the job of the DoF.
