Poor ref for both sides but that was a red card every day of the week.
Sakho injury costly last night and will cause us problems moving forward.
WH should have saved that shot really but why did we give Errikson so much room - that was the real issue.
Once Sakho went off we sat back too much and I - like others - think that Jimmy Mac should have stayed on the field.
Taking everything into account we were beaten by the best or second best team in the league who are the absolute form side who had an extra days rest on us and who could bring Son and Sissoko off the bench.
We did very well but they were better than us - simple!

I was only talking to someone the other day about Eriksen and we were discussing the fact that it is felt that he is a genuine 'No 10' who finds space in the 'Hole' and is dangerous from this position and my word he proved this.

Where was our defensive 'Shield' in front of our central defenders ? He had far too much space and we have seen before that he can score from distance.Maybe fatigue played a part.
When someone scores from that distance one initially tends to question the keeper - will have to see it on TV to form a judgement.

I'm definitely fatigued at you talking out of your hole.

Watched the goal on the replay: No one between Hennessey and the strike - for YARDS. WH was centred in goal and looked close to the post it went into. He had a solid view. It wasn't the fastest shot either. It did bounce though about 2 metres in front of him. A slightly awkward but regulation save, really IMHO. WH really does drop his bundle too easily for me. He must mentally doze off I think. I think he struggles to stay fully alert. Not ALL his fault though, but he knew Sahko was off injured and should have raised his game. I think Sahko would of spoilt this shot or not allowed it had he been on. We should have got a point from this one.

Yep, totally agree. Every opposition manager in the PL must brief his team to strike the ball from distance as our keeper is poor. Thing is, you don't ever see WH save 'any' shots like that ... they all go past him, time & time again. Far to regularly this season, when a ball goes narrowly wide Wayne is just standing there like a statue marvelling at how near it was!

Yep, he's improved in the last 8 or so games but he couldn't have got any worse. Chelsea away was his best game of the season though - gotta his him that. But long term, he can't seriously be our No.1 - surely not!

The injury seemed to change everything in a worrying way. It was a finely poised match between the best performing teams. And then the injury occurred and suddenly it was title chasers v bottom feeders. It wasn't even down to the the change in personnel as dammers did nothing wrong. It seemed that the spirit of the team instantly crumbled.

As for that goal, I don't blame the defence. They almost invite them in order to take back possession. Who knew it would be one of the handful of good ones? That's not to say it shouldn't have been saved.

Apart from Delaney and Kelly, we now have no other centre backs, fit or otherwise.

We will have to recall Inniss or Croll to be on the bench.

I wonder if Schlupp can play there at a pinch. Not that tall but has a good spring
