Watch the replays - nicks the ball away from the keeper and gets caught. Definite pen. Disagree moves his leg across to the keeper if it was against us I'd be pissed. On a separate note was there a handball in our area just before that? Form where I was sat it looked like one of our players touched it.

Remember when we were concerned that Pards would be nicked from us for the England job? How comfortable that that can't happen now - no matter how high big Sam takes us. Good times ahead methinks. Possibly Sam's most successful managerial period.

I had real reservations about Kelly. However, he played really well. Really well. Confident, comfortable and was a menace in their box. Sam knows he is a Centre Half not a right footed Left Back.!!

No hand ball, looked like it but it didn't connect, it was sahko.

Late to the show here but what a performance at Selhurst last night. What impressed me the most was 100+% application from all of the Palace players, defending as though their lives depended on it; closing down upon Arsenal continuously; working the wings and boldly striding forward. To think that Palace had more shots on goal than Arsenal and kept a clean sheet typified how well they can play in every game. One last thing: BIG credit to Palace's extra weapon who were in potent form last night = the mighty belting, raucous cheer of the fans was surely massive help to the players. Bring on Leicester for more of the same. Let's hope that we don't retreat to another Southampton banana skin after such a herculean effort and when points still matter.

Never a pen clear dive but we deserve this game anyway and the bad ref we have had this season about time we got something Sitting in the Holmesdale Upper it looked stonewall. Not surprised the ref gave it. Also there was contact and the keeper didn't get close to the ball so even if there was video evidence still a pen for me. All academic anyway, other than 3-0 sounding better than 2-0.

Saw it on telly with all the replays and everythong and for me it was a stonewall cast-iron pen all day long. Townsend dinks the ball past the keeper, keeper arrives late, catches his foot and down he goes. If he gets past it's a deffo goal. Not deliberate, but absolutely a foul.

Townsend was going down before his leg (purposely) made contact with the keeper. If it were a player for one of the top four clubs, pundits would laud the clever player for 'drawing the foul' but it's still a dive in my opinion. Well done Townsend!!
