Some Man City fans were asking why the game was so badly attended. Presumably £25 a ticket was too steep. And no doubt many did not see any point paying to watch Palace lose to what was always going to be a superior side.

I choose to go to watch us lose against Bournemouth on Tuesday night instead.

But if Wayne was a better keeper we would not lose so many matches and the stadium would be fuller that's why people do not pay £25 to watch Wayne let in so many goals!....
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Whatever way you look at it Steve Parish got what he wanted. He'd rather have nearly 14,000 with a top price of £25 than 20-25,000 paying a tenner at the most. Never mind the fact more fans would have attended/better atmosphere etc with the shortfall being made up by his Premier multi-millions. It was always how much the club could bank that was going to be the deciding factor. Nice one Steve!
