The ref was incredibly weak with regard to City's play acting. They were the worst group of cheats I've seen since we've been back in the prem. Tread on the cvnts hands while they're rolling on the floor that'll get em up quick enough.

..not OK with only two games remaining, but there is still six weeks to go until January, I enjoyed today's performance not the end result, the team is consistently performing strongly or attempting to, ask any man.city player or fan, we have small issues with a small amount of players, one of them has been brilliant but not so since return from injury and so we all know he will turn things around which will improve the whole defending as a unit and we have one that is very prone to hash decisions at crucial moments and we have another that is just very inconsistent, do not underestimate the pressure these silly players are putting on the rest of the team.... it just shows me how strong and positive the rest are to be able to pull things together during every game with this unfortunate run of results behind them, if the manager was the cause of this they would by now all have stopped trying and we would easily see it on the pitch, but I can't see any of this, all I see is a team attacking at will and scaring the s*** out of everyone and big huge silly individual mistakes from players who on another day would have done something completely different .....we have two players I would remove permanently in January because they cannot stop being silly and one who is just playing at being silly because he feels sorry for the other two.

Ah that old 'we're too good to go down' quote.

Yes we're playing well at times, very well at times. But we're still loosing which is worrying. If we can't win when we are playing really well, what chance have we got. Sunderland are starting to win games, Swansea are starting to put up a fight......yes we can buy in Jan, but so can everyone else. I am seriously concerned.

What is is they say? You're a good side if you can grind out a win when you're not playing your best.

What are you when you can grind out a defeat when you are playing your best? S***e?

I would have preferred Wickham to have been taken off instead of Benteke, Benteke would have known his role from corners and is generally better at hold up and not making stupid tackles. A manager should be able to substitute a sub; even if he's scored and played well. It should be what's best for the team and the players should accept that.

Great man management like that would of got what type of comments on here after they scored from a corner that wasn't put in the air. They scored because they knew how the corner was going to be put in and got the jump on our defenders. We should of closed off the low near post route, surely, after falling for it twice already.

We fell for the same low corner twice. We got lucky on the first one, but it's unforgiveable to let it happen again. Much as people want to blame AP for it, this is something that comes down to on field management. So what the f*** are our very experienced players doing on deadballs? Shocking.

Exactly. Just because they nearly scored once does not mean they will not try it again.

Pardew;takes credit for the first goal, good sub.takes blame for how we closed out the game, terrible sub taking off tekkers for Lee, then pushing up Scott Dann as a target man. All that said, it was individual errors that lost us the game again. It's getting beyond a joke, it's so hard to take when we consistently play well for periods of games but end up with nothing. Are individual errors down to poor management? I love pards but part of me thinks he's lost it. Maybe we need someone boring in to sure things up?
