The team without Cabaye just has had a nice balance so far. That's not to criticise the Frenchman -- merely an observation. I'm not a big fan of Pardew bit he has to take some credit for that. Anything else would be churlish.

Anything else would be churlish. Good points . I think Delaney does well for us and is better when he is not being dragged out wide to cover gaps left by Souare. Kelly looks more solid defensively.

The offside for our goal was a bad call, no contact and no distraction, and 9 times in ten those stand. The referee however, was excellent, in going over to discuss it with the lino, and I think he wanted to give it.
