It's a complete joke how so many people don't seem to show faith in SP. If he thought it was in the best interest of the club to keep Bolasie, he would. Bolasie obviously wants a move. We're getting north of £25M. Parish thinks it's the right thing given the circumstances. And we should respect that. Bolasie, McCarthy & Gayle out With potentially Townsend, Mandanda, Tomkins, Benteke, plus two more AP hinted at. (I'd say it's likely to be two from either, Hal Robson-Kanu, Ashley Young or Niasse). Those signings strength the team and the squad. There's some real class being brought in, which will elevate us again within the next window to further talent picking to join us. Honestly we're getting players like AT, Benteke and Mandanda and people are moaning. Crazy world!! Edited by Goldfiinger (11 Aug 2016 10.23pm)

Our signings have been good so far but I refuse to accept the idea that Steve Parish is beyond criticism or beyond making a mistake. I seriously doubt he thinks that either. I don't want us to sell Bolasie and nor does the Manager if you believe his Presser.

Steve Parish probably doesn't want to sell him either... That doesn't mean he doesn't have too. Bolasie wants to leave and the price is to good to say no. Everton have met the valuation which means Bolasie gets what he wants or we end up with a player who doesn't want to be here.... And he won't be sold unless Benteke is a done deal, surely everyone can see that? I personally thought Bolasie wanted to go before he signed the improved contract. Probably had a gentlemans agreement with SP that he could go to a 'bigger club' if the price was right. He wasn't great last year, and it's time he moves on. Lucky for us the fee is all but going to pay for what will hopefully turn out to be our best forward in decades.

If Bolasie does play tomorrow then it is likely to be his last game for us. So I hope our fans get behind him and give him the send off he deserves. He's frustrated us on many occasions but no one can deny that he's been one of the most entertaining players to play in a Palace shirt. And he's always played with a smile on his face.

Bolassie will probably pick up a mysterious illness tomorrow such as green parrot disease and is unlikely to play.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Yannick bolasie (replacement ideas)' by james03 I can't believe that Pardew and the board would be so STUPID. What's the point of having £25 million if you can't sign a better player than the one you sold for £25 million? Our entire season fell apart last year because of our lack of squad depth - and it was noticeable that it coincided with Bolasie's absence from the team. With all the money washing around in the Prem at the moment, we won't be able to sign a replacement for less than £25 mill. So unless the rumours are true that Yannick is unhappy with his current contract and is showing signs of disrupting the team spirit, this is a senseless move. Pardew smugly stated last week that it's marvellous to have competition for places; now he bites Koeman's hand off at the wrist to get rid of (arguably) our best player last season and bang goes the competition. People complain that Yala doesn't score enough goals but that's not his strength. We need a striker for that with Bolasie creating havoc down the wing to provide opportunites for him. No striker signed all summer, deadwood still on the books and we're selling our best players. Our management is losing the plot. Edited by eaglesally (09 Aug 2016 5.48pm) As already stated the season before we improved when he was away in the AFCON. Personally feel it was the loss of the likes of JMac that had a larger effect. At the end of the day if he wishes to go, like any other player, the club would be wise to sell. This idea of the need for cash at the moment seems nonsensical based on the supposed bids we have made in the past for strikers.

a potential deal worth £30m is far to big to turn town, for that money he goes with my blessing and no hard feelings. if he has thrown a tantrum, handed in q transfer request & went for £15m i would be pissed off
