"A Palestinian man has been killed in the occupied West Bank and 25 are reported hurt after dozens of Jewish settlers stormed a village during an Israeli search for a missing teenager. Israeli troops intervened after dozens of settlers stormed al-Mughayyir armed with guns and stones. It is not yet clear whether the man who died, Jehad Abu Alia, 26, was shot by an armed settler or Israeli soldier. (BBC website) Swap the word "settler" in the above text, for armed sovereign land stealer.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Harold Lloyd was a very brave actor who did all his stunts. And didn't care what people said about him. Thanks for the comparison.

I don't do it to Pander to somebody's feelings. If you think I'm not a nice person. Then that's your opinion. If you think it's going to bother me in any way. Think again. If you have anything interesting to say on this topic. Why not say it. As for the Israeli Palestinian conflict. I know a lot more than the people who support Hamas terrorists.

Now that Iran has joined the conflict. It is a perfect opportunity to wipe them off the face of the earth, and anybody else who wants to ruin the freedom that we have now. Israel is the only free country in the middle East. Yet, there are still those among us in free democratic countries, who somehow think that, Israel should stop defending themselves or defend itself proportionally from the evils of Islamic state countries... This discussion isn't about people's feelings. If you're going to make a ridiculous comment. You should be made accountable for that stupid comment. Israel has free and Fair Elections. It holds regular and competitive elections where citizens have the right to vote and choose their leaders. These elections are generally perceived as fair and transparent, with multiple political parties participating. Israel also protects Civil Liberties. Israel has a legal framework that protects civil liberties such as freedom of speech, press, and religion. Citizens have the right to express their views and criticize the government without fear of persecution. This includes Arabs. Ab independent Judiciar that has an independent judiciary that ensures the rule of law. The courts have the power to review government actions and protect individual rights. Judicial decisions are typically respected and implemented by the government. Freedom of the Press is another bonus Israel has a vibrant and diverse media landscape, allowing for a wide range of opinions and perspectives. The press operates independently and enjoys relative freedom to report on various issues, including those critical of the government. Checks and Balances. Israel has a system of checks and balances where powers are distributed among different branches of government. This system helps prevent any one branch from gaining excessive control and ensures accountability. Minority Rights. While not without challenges, Israel makes efforts to protect minority rights. Arab citizens of Israel, although facing some disparities, have the right to vote and participate in the political process. Those who criticize Israel now and the Jewish population are no different than the Germans who were manipulated by the Nazis. Most of it is unfair or biased criticism that generalizes and demonizes the Israeli people or Jewish communities . It perpetuate harmful stereotypes and contribute to tension and conflict. Hamas have pulled off the biggest manipulation the world has ever seen. Those who have fallen for it. Seem to get upset at the truth.

hilarious Using a 😂 to mock someone during a debate undermines your credibility. I have obviously hurt your feelings and in response you demonstrate a lack of respect and undermine the principles of a constructive and respectful debate. All, you are doing is distracting from the substance of the discussion and trying to derail the conversation. What are you reacting to? You're reacting to true and facts. And because you don't like those truths and facts. And because you can't argue against them you result to childish emojis.

Hamas have pulled off the biggest manipulation the world has ever seen. Those who have fallen for it. Seem to get upset at the truth. The description of Israel that follows the highlighted idea is precisely the reason why it ought not be even discussed, let alone implemented. It would precipitate a major escalation that would impact everyone on the earth in some way and has the potential for massive loss of life and even the unthinkable. Responsible, peace loving western nations don’t behave like that. So let’s hope Netanyahu has wiser heads around him and putting pressure on him from elsewhere. This is a time for diplomacy. Not for hot heads. The way to deal with Iran is to support internal dissent on top of external pressure until the people replace extremism with pragmatism. Both sides can present this as a victory to their own people. Iran because they responded. Israel became their defence systems worked. Let’s hope they are both content with that. For Netanyahu this can be milked as more than a victory. It has reduced the focus on their own behaviour in Gaza and cast them again as the victim. It has also enabled them to test, in a real situation, their air defence systems and prove they are effective, both to their own people and to their adversaries. Iran did not overwhelm it and ought now be dissuaded from trying again. Maybe some good can now be extracted from what looked awful last night. With effective international diplomacy maybe some serious negotiations can start that will result in, if not a rapprochement, at least a stable stand off.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |
