I honestly can’t wait for this transfer window to shut. I am annoying myself checking Palace news every 10 minutes.

Looking at whats available and the teams we are competing against, It is hard to see where are signings are going to come from. We are not going to pay over the odds for anyone so it will be a case of whats left on the shelf come this evening.

There will be signings today but who they are is a different matter altogether.

Well, it's deadline day. I'd say that we were one of the clubs most in need of a rebuild this summer and, according to Sky Sports, we are tied with Liverpool on fewest arrivals so far.

We've known all summer that we needed a new right back and a striker. We have known since Zaha left that we needed a left winger.

I like the signings we've made but if we don't get a couple of players in to improve those positions today, it's a crime.

No excuses. No "it's a tough market". No "we don't want to sign players for the sake of it." No "we only want players who are an upgrade on what we have" when what we have is Schlupp, Ward and Mateta.

Come on Palace, just get it done.
