Well you cant really write but from guessing what you are trying to ask I would say only that I have known a fan that bought a paper ticket each week on the door because he worked Saturday mornings and was never 100% certain he would make the game. This was every week so he didn't see the sense in buying a season ticket if there was a chance it would rarely get used.
As it turned out he ended up missing only 2 or 3 games all season so the following year took a chance and bought a season ticket. Because of the cost of buying 23 paper tickets (we were in the Championship at the time) compared to a season ticket that year it could be argued he was more of a fan because he was quite happy to pay more over the course of the year than a season ticket holder did.
So in answer to your naive question, yes, of course it is highly possible that a fan that buys a ticket on the day, for all sorts of reasons can feasibly be every bit as much of a fan as a season ticket holder.
But then again, those with rational brains that are grown ups probably wouldn't need all that explaining.

Apologies for my fat fingers on a small keypad. And sorry it was difficult for you to figure our what I meant...Shouldn't really have been that difficult. But obviously it was too difficult for you to read proplerly, as what I said was someone who buys a paper ticket now and again. Not every game, but I'll resist personal insults and just tepeat it so you might undetstand. In my opinion, which obviously differs from yours, someone who pays out a significant amount each year to renew they're season ticket. Should be shown some loyalty over someone who ' in general' buys a paper ticket now and again. Hope that's now clear enough for you to understand.

Why?

One reason could be that no-one is saying anything new and the thread is just going round and round with the same people continually stating the same things over ad over again.

Another reason could be that some people are getting overheated on the subject and their inability to debate nicely has seen a few yellow cards handed out and at least three people permanently excluded from HOL

Mainly because, unless I have missed it, none of us know how this is going to be implemented. The binfest will start again once the plans have been announced.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

It doesn't matter when it was but we have had atmosphere before the HF came into being. In any case I was just answering a question from Bar Eagle as to whether I liked a good atmosphere or not.

As for your ridiculous assertion that without the HF we would have been relegated it's actually just an assumption as you cannot back it up with facts. I prefer to think the reasons we haven't been relegated are down to Tony Pullis, Alan Pardew in his early tenure, Sam Allardyce and then Roy Hodgson who all got the team playing well enough to stay up.

...what DOES matter though is you've quoted crowd sizes far in excess of what we can have at the moment. OBVIOUSLY the bigger the crowd the bigger and generally better the atmosphere. However, pound for pound the atmosphere generated by the HF is equal if not better than anything else in the Prem at the moment. By allowing that to grow it could even be better. Then imagine that with another 8,000 created by the Man Stand...

Is there any evidence they are returning for the next Home match?

If so what is it?

No idea? I've only read what others have in that they may be back for the Wolves game; guess we'll just have to wait and see.

If we lose against Wolves will this be the HF fault if they are there or not? No, it will be the teams.

The club statement says singing section in Lower Holmesdale which holds around 5000. So unless there are 5000 "singers" logic to me says it must be restricted to certain blocks and assuming the other blocks remain seated the visabilty for these spectators needs to be considered. So far the club has not supplied the information to supply these answers. Until this is known everything is guess work including the reaction from authorities including the planning application for new stand

Hmm, problem with that flawed argument is I never said 'now and again'. You did. You think a season ticket holder is more of a fan than one that buys a paper ticket now and again, your words. I'd probably agree with that sentence but then again that isn't what I said is it? Think someone needs to learn to read as well as to write.
