I can’t see it myself for all the reasons that have been mentioned by others on here however that is what I have been told. Apparently SP promised him he could leave if he signed a 5 year deal to maximise his value. Be seriously gutted if he goes.

Not if he wants Champions League. I think people are taking the Champions League thing a bit too literally. I interpreted it as I want to play for a team that's challenging and whilst Arsenal missed out this season, they are clearly a team that's aim is Champions League every season and he would be moving to a team that could help him reach his aspirations. However, I can only see this move happening if they are offering £40m and a couple of players like Reiss and Chambers. I don't think that's such a bad deal as getting two players in negates some of that sell on fee that we would've had to pay to Man U had we gone straight fee.

Too many of the top 6 either have have issues in certain other areas, aren’t willing to pay what we are after or don’t seem to be interested. This doesn’t look like the right the time for Wilf. If however it is all true and he really wants Champions League football how about 50mil from Chelsea plus Batshuayi and we have Wilf on loan next season as I don’t believe he can move there yet with there ban. Ok he has to wait for another year but this could be the best outcome for Palace which as fans is our main priority.

Zaha supported Arsenal before at whichever point he had to shelve his support as a professional. May be true, maybe not. It's true. He's even said so in interviews. Everyone who plays football will have supported a team as a boy, and I doubt most end up playing for that team. I imagine Andros would try and talk him out of moving to Arsenal given he's a Spurs supporter!

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

The midfield play maker, many have been calling for.

I’d be very surprised if it worked like that. Otherwise I think we’d see many more player swaps than we do. In that scenario I’d expect any make weight players to be given a ‘fair value’ and we’d pay a sell on fee based on that. In practice I think most player swaps are done as separate transfers.
