On a separate note, there was a big review in the Sunday Times last week of a singer called Alice Gold which tickled my interest. Her album (Seven Rainbows) isn't due to be released till July, but she's had two singles out already (Orbiter & Runaway Love) - any chance you might be able to add the album to your "To Find" list, and find me the singles in the meantime please?

Todays first download is a set by former Led Zep front man Robert Plant. This was recorded in Austin, Texas for the show Austin City Limits. The audio for this boot has been taken from a cable tv audio rip and is in superb quality. Some great tracks on this one - with a little reminder of his LZ days. I left the interview in as the last track - you may wish to delete it. This is thoroughly recommended... Here is a download link I found for :- Live Austin City Limits, Austin, Texas 15.9.02 - Robert Plant (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 - Darkness, Darkness (fade in by the broadcast) Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 122MB (Including Artwork) The Line-up : Back Cover : [Link] Enjoy! Todays second download is an unplugged album, live on MTV by R.E.M. This is the second time the band have been invited to play unplugged on MTV. They played their first set in 1991 - a bootleg which has been posted in the past. This show was recorded in June 2001 and features a fantastic selection of the bands work - including the 2nd takes that they did. This is the complete show. The quality of this bootleg is superb and if you like R.E.M then you will want this one... this is thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live on MTV : Unplugged 21.6.01 - R.E.M (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 101 All The Way To Reno (You're Gonna Be A Star) 201 La Bamba (part) Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 249MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy! Todays extra download is really two short sets that were recorded at the recent Japan Disaster Benefit Gig in London - this download contains the sets by Richard Ashcroft and the set by Kelly Jones. Only 3 songs each which is why I bundled them together as a single download. This is the final boot from this gig and is in superb quality.... Here is a download link I found for :- The Japan Disaster Benefit GIg, Brixton Academy, London 4.3.11 - Richard Ashcroft & Kelly Jones (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Richard Ashcroft Set Tracklisting : Kelly Jones Set Tracklisting : Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 59MB Enjoy! Todays first download is a superb sounding bootleg by Mike Oldfield that was recorded on the "Five Miles Out/Who's Next" tour of 1982. This show was recorded in Cologne, Germany at the Sporthalle. The quality of this bootleg is absolutely outstanding. Pin drop perfect sound on this one... one of the best soundboards I've ever heard - crystal. He plays a great set including Tubular Bells, Platinum, and Ommadawn - as well as a few other songs. This is a great show and is thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- "Turbulent Weather" Live at Sporthalle, Cologne, Germany 2.11.82 - Mike Oldfield (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Disc 1 Total duration: 58:11 Disc 2 Total duration: 52:54 Download Links : Megaupload : Part 2 : [Link] or Rapidshare : Part 2 : [Link] NB: Links are interchangeable - so it doesn't matter which site you download from as long as you have both parts. Todays second download is a set by the red rocker Sammy Hagar that was recorded at the Cobo Arena, Detroit in 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast on WLLZ-FM Radio Detroit. A cracking set by Sammy, who has been around for many years and played with the best in the rock business. I first saw him in 1974 when he was with the band Montrose... he's still rocking today with supergroup "Chickenfoot".... this is thoroughly recommended. Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Cobo Arena, Detroit, Michigan 13.10.84 - Sammy Hagar (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Disc 1 Disc 2 Download Links : Part 1 : [Link] Part 2 : [Link] Filesize : 162MB (Including Artwork) Back Cover : [Link] Enjoy! Todays second download is a set by Deacon Blue that was recorded at Newcastle City Hall in 1999. This is in superb quality and is without doubt the best Deacon Blue bootleg that I've heard. Good quality soundboards of this band are very rare - and this is a good one. If you like Deacon Blue, I thoroughly recommended this one. Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Newcastle City Hall, Newcastle, England 22.10.99 - Deacon Blue (Bootleg)
Filesize : 256MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy! Fantastic - really glad to see this is still available. Will give it a listen on Tuesday.
