Apparently he was seen today at Selhurst park is what I've heard today don't know how true it is though

Why would he be there? Wouldn’t it be Beckenham or Soho?

Ask Tom bout her, the stories he knows, she'll be an asset to the club.

Ah, I think you are confusing her with Beverley Surething. Easily done, literally

According to Roy, another wide midfielder would be nice but is not a priority. Another striker is the priority. Benrahma apparently is a player they are aware of and have followed but there is no concrete interest currently and we are not close to any deal. From the sounds of it I think it is more likely we would go in hard for him if something happened with Wilf.

If the reports about Brewster are true and Liverpool are willing to sell for c £20 million I’d imagine that would be something the board would be very keen on.

Can't help but think that would be overdoing it. Wilf is playing up top and currently performing as well as I've seen him play in months. So why not leave him there, where he can inflict the most damage. Plus we've brought in Bats, presumably not to warm the bench. Then we've still got Benteke, who makes the whole team play better when he plays, plus Wickham who could be decent if he stays injury free and gets a run together.

Not sure another striker is all that needed now. Would rather focus on the ageging defence.

Think you are overrating Wickham to be honest. Even when fit he hasn’t looked up to PL level. He looked average on loan last year as well. Benteke I agree is a useful option but realistically we have only got Zaha and Batshuayi fit. Batshuayi is not our player yet and is still a loan for now. Zaha will likely move on in future, Benteke is nearly 30 and Wickham shouldn’t be at the club. If we have the chance to bring in a 20 year old English player with a high skill ceiling, then it’s a good move.

Yeah, true. You do make sense. We'll agree to disagree on Wickham...I think he looks dangerous and a natural goalscorer when he's fit and firing. Just he's rarely fit and firing haha.

But yeah, when you put it like that, another option is probably a good idea. It'll just be hard to keep everyone happy with playing time...but luckily that's Roy's problem not ours!

The other factor is there's no guarantee Wilf will stay. If he does go, then Batshuayi plus (say) Brewster up top could be good with Tekkers as an option to play instead of one of them on appropriate occasions (whatever they may be - I don't know but I imagine there would be times when want a big CF for the hold-up play).

Also if Batshuayi doesn't cut the mustard this year for some reason, we presumably won't buy him so would need this extra front man.

Top of my list would have been a goalkeeper.

Not great cover for Guita, now well clear of Wayne.

Sorloth to RB Leipzig completed £22m so Palace will get £11m.

Clyne training with club could be offered a deal depending on fitness of Ferguson.

Another Striker will be coming in

Benrahma will be completed now next week as was waiting on Sorloth deal to be completed.

Lastly will be a young CB & Downes still Beverly likely but possibly loaned back for the season.

Thanks for the update

Was told that Benrahma could be in the balance and that brewster is our No 1 target, Lets see how things turn out.

If this is an assumption based on RH's press con then I think this makes sense. However, if you were "told" by someone ITK (and I am not going down that irritating/dull call-out cr@p that is ruining so many threads) I would be genuinely interested.

At least the Academy have made some signings, 5 according to skysports and they certainly needed them after the U23 performance last season!
