Todays first download is a set by David Bowie that was recorded at the BBC Maida Vale Studios, London on the 18th Sept '02 and the show was broadcast on October 5th '02. There were interviews inbetween each track which I've removed, along with the radio jingles and intro's - just leaving the music. This is in superb quality and is a really top notch sounding bootleg. If you like Bowie, this is a great addition to the collection.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live At The BBC Maida Vale Studios, London 18.9.02 - David Bowie (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 Sunday Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 69.6MB (Including Artwork) Back Cover : [Link] Enjoy! Todays second download is a set by Black Sabbath that was recorded on the Ozzfest '99 Tour. This is a fantastic soundboard recording where the crowd presence is practically inaudible. This is a top notch set with some wicked tracks from early Sabbath albums - especially Paranoid. Ozzy is on fine form.... one for any BS fan...... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Deer Creek Amphitheatre, Noblesville, Indianapolis, 29.6.99 - Black Sabbath (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 War Pigs Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 198MB Enjoy! Todays extra download is a short set by Cheap Trick that was recorded in New York City in 1978. Only 7 tracks, so not the entire show - but what we do get really rocks. This is in superb quality - a really top notch bootleg... thoroughly recommended. Todays first download is a set by the Scorpions which was recorded in El Paso, TX in 1996. This is in superb quality and was also broadcast as one of the Westwood One FM radio shows. A really great sounding bootleg with amazing stereo - recorded on the first night of the bands "Pure Instinct" tour. This rocks big time and is thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- "Instinctive First Night" Live at the UTEP Special Events Center, El Paso, Texas 5.6.96 - Scorpions (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. Todays second download is a set by Mama's Boys that was recorded at two live shows in 1985 & 86. They are both in superb quality and have been taken from an FM broadcast. The sets are only short - and the tracklisting is nearly the same, but this is a cracking sounding boot. This is only the second boot by Mama's Boys that I've posted... and it's a good one... thoroughly recommended... Here is a download link I found for :- Live in UK 85-86 - Mamas Boys (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Knebworth, England 22.6.85 Milton Keynes Bowl, Bucks, England 28.6.86 Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 91.1MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) Enjoy! Todays extra download is a set by Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan which was recorded in Dachau, Germany in November 2010. This is in superb quality and was also broadcast on FM radio. This is the first bootleg by these two that I've posted but not the first album. I've previously posted their album entitled "Hawk" - and this boot features a few songs from that album. This is an excellent boot and is thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live in Friedenskirchem Dachau, Germany 24..11.10 - Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 - We Die and See Beauty Reign Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 107MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy! Todays second download is a set by Deacon Blue that was recorded at Newcastle City Hall in 1999. This is in superb quality and is without doubt the best Deacon Blue bootleg that I've heard. Good quality soundboards of this band are very rare - and this is a good one. If you like Deacon Blue, I thoroughly recommended this one. Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Newcastle City Hall, Newcastle, England 22.10.99 - Deacon Blue (Bootleg)
Filesize : 256MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy! Fantastic - really glad to see this is still available. Will give it a listen on Tuesday. On a separate note, there was a big review in the Sunday Times last week of a singer called Alice Gold which tickled my interest. Her album (Seven Rainbows) isn't due to be released till July, but she's had two singles out already (Orbiter & Runaway Love) - any chance you might be able to add the album to your "To Find" list, and find me the singles in the meantime please?
