The problem with those on the hard right is that they think all those who stand slightly less to the right than them are on the "left". It's a bit like looking at a compass and thinking that if you want to go north, but find yourself headed NNE, that you will end up in the south. I see myself as to the right of the centre and not on the left. It's like you being really convinced that the BBC has a left wing bias when the truth is that does a very reasonable job of trying to ensure that all points of view get air time. It ALL depends on your personal perspective.

Still, no actual policies like I requested. 'You doth protest too much'. What do you think fiscal conservatism and a liberal social policy agenda mean? Do you expect me to produce a manifesto? If so you are going to be disappointed. I have described where I stand. If you cannot understand it then that's not my problem. Most people will.

It's xenophobic rather than racist, but still as disgusting. You outrage is bloody funny. Firstly, the fact that you think that offending people is so important and secondly because you so are precious. I saw an appallingly juvenile comedy on TV the other night called 'Famalan' where Black people were continuously using White stereotypes. That is on my TV in a predominantly and traditionally White country. Got a problem with that?

Skin colour really doesn’t matter mate, we’re all human beings. We’ll all never agree anyway; I like a mixing pot of cultures, you lot don’t. I honestly find difference in people fascinating and want to learn and understand, not stick up a guard to it and be fearful of it.

I was offended by how crap it was but I'm already used to the double standards applied to Black people. Only White people can be racist apparently.

Of course they aren't but one nation Tories have a more liberal approach to social issues than those on the hard right wing. That's where I stand. That I share some values with the Lib Dems, and indeed those on the right of the Labour party, is totally in line with standing on the middle ground. My big hope is that, if the Tory party continues to drift to the hard right and Labour to the hard left that the splits will become permanent and a strong middle ground party will coalesce. It's what will provide the nucleus and the backing that remains the big unknown.

Wuuuuu? So I can say I f***ing hate Albanian people and its not being racist? You can be racist towards people from a certain country, last time I checked. Having an issue with racism is not being PC, its being a decent human being. Judging people because of what is on their passport is bonkers. In my experience many of these won't have entered with passports (now ducking down behind the sofa waiting for the flax)

Yeh true, I think they are a bit interchangeable though these days, but the classic meanings: Xenophobia: Dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries. Racism: Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. Don't think ME said he disliked them and showed no prejudice towards them did he?
