I'm struggling with the contradiction that they're such great fans but have deliberately acted in a way they believe to be detrimental to the club just becuase they can't move to another block.

Now here's the thing.... The HF have no effect on how the team play... some might not like that but it's true... There is nothing hypothetical about it. Virtually everybody agrees the atmosphere has dropped dramatically and negatively since their disappearance.
