We also enjoy many tariff and trade benefits as a member of the customs union and single market. There are benefits that are hard to quantify financially until we dont have them anymore. As we are yet to actually leave the EU, the true financial situation will not be known until the point at which that happens, and the ensuing years. The thing is the £350/£260m figure can & has been quantified, ask yourself this would having £350m or £260m written on the side of a bus (a bus that no one actually cares about) make any difference to how people voted?

Out here in SK pretty much everyone I speak to (demograph roughly 25yrs to about 40yrs) want Britain to just leave the EU. The EU isn't hugely popular amongst the working class here whilst the middle class think its the greatest thing ever. The older generation here want a return to communism & see the EU as a s*** version of that. I got my residency a few months back & it was all pretty straight forward.

Lie 1 - the figure. Lie 2 - the NHS piece. Lie 3 - dumbing down the entire topic by conflating a number which has many intangibles connected to it with domestic spending when they are totally unrelated, creating a false connection.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

You haven't answered my question. 1. The figure - erm yeah it's out a bit but I've already explained this, it's somewhat a half truth. 2. The NHS piece 3. Dumbing down the topic The legal action is a grotesque waste of time & money, its been funded by hard Remainers who see anyone who doesn't conform to their npc hive mind as literal reincarnations of Hitler, ie. They should never be taken seriously. Fbpe = farage beating practically everyone Edited by Ouzo Dan (30 May 2019 7.26am)

Look at the spun head line to discreaded brexit. Yup I saw the headline but when you read the article the two don't tally. That is not to say that the Brexit isn't isn't having an impact but you only have to look at worldwide car production to realise the main causes of the downturn. Inevitably the paper are now investigating the person who brought the case against Boris. Like most of us he is not perfect, expect a few skeletons to fall out of his cupboard. It has also been pointed out that Boris wasn't the only one using the £350million claim, a number of other high profile Leave politicians also did so why are they not being prosecuted as well?

Apparently the wrong winners were shown on BGT must be a Remainer doing the scores.

Remainers are becoming a bit loathsome to me and starting become the real thickos of society

So if the UK gives the EU 13 billion a year but gets back 4 billion in a rebate, does anyone know who chooses where the 4 billion is spent or goes? My thinking is if the EU chooses where the 4 billions goes then actually if we left the EU we could literally give , if we choose to give the NHS 13 billion a year.

He has skewed the numbers to make a point but all politicians do. Ask the Tories how the economy is doing they will reel off a load of facts that tell you it's great. Ask Corbyn the same question and you will get a different answer because it's cherry picking. Edited by Badger11 (30 May 2019 7.49am)
