I almost can’t believe what I’m reading, although it’s typical of ‘club Benteke’ Palace fans. Now they’re all saying it was the wrong type of cross. It should’ve been lifted 7-8 feet in the air, to the far post, perfectly onto Benteke’s head and over the 3 defenders in the way. None of this perfect cross the dopey cvnt only has to read and be there to tap in for an easy goal. No, everyone’s being too cruel on Benteke. And one decent chance in a 0-0 game? Not enough either! What a joke as well. There’s loads of these types of balls during the season and the useless dopey cvnt is never reading his teammates he trains with every week or is actually never there at all. Fvcking useless, yet his fans he couldn’t give a shoit about will be defending him on his last game when he’s either doing the same or playing out of his skin because he doesn’t have a contract to cream £130k per week anymore. Ignore the experts. It’s not Benteke’s fault the ball didn’t clear everything the air but was actually perfect with fvck all for him to do if he bothered or had a brain or any intuition whatsoever. Sadly he hasn’t and we’re stuck with the cvnt for 9 months longer. Edited by Rudi Hedman (13 Aug 2019 7.59am) You don't rate him then?

When he took the ball off Luka and wouldn't give it back for THAT penalty, and a certain hands to ears celebration directed at the Palace faithful when he did finally score one of his very few goals, should have been the end of him in a Palace shirt, irrespective of the fact that he is total pony poo. Exactly. Would have broke his leg training if I was in the team.

A decent striker is never afraid to miss and constantly puts himself on offer to convert chances. It was clear from that PVA cross that Benteke is hiding and is terrified of clear cut chances. He looks to me as though he has the football version of the yips

Benteke, is a striker, but maybe a bit one dimensional in his approach. He is no poacher, as Sharp, could be described, . I think Benteke, could play a part ,but we need a poacher. No body getting into that vital area in between the posts happens to often for Palace. Javier Hernandez is a penalty box striker and scores a lot of goals from inside the 6-yard box.He is a 'fox in the box' and a clever player with good movement.

Plenty of experts listening to Ian Wright on one piece of action. Not wrong though is he, and besides, I had the same opinion at the game, cheers. At least this one hundredth time he didn’t put his arms out in front of him to show where at his feet he preferred the ball, partly because even someone as thick as Benteke knows you can’t pass through 3 defenders. And there’s the evidence he does expect some balls played on the ground, but when it is perfect the useless cvnt is never there. Edited by Rudi Hedman (13 Aug 2019 9.12am)
