They will still be season ticket holders, they haven’t had their homes re-possessed or daughters sold to Al Shabaab.

Anyone would think that the atmosphere at Palace was a recent thing. I have been in crowds at Selhurst of 36,000 v Peterborough, 38000 v Millwall, 40,000 v Man Utd and 51,000 v Burnley and there was great atmosphere then. I am not against a decent atmosphere but I have consistently argued that the HF were WRONG to throw their teddies out of the pram and now cause a lot of loyal fans to be moved. Also I don't accept for one moment that with the HF and a good atmosphere that it translates into wins on the pitch or that we might get relegated without them. That was before all seater stadia. That’s now changed things and the atmosphere has been mostly shyte since then. It’s actually been mostly shyte since before then in August 1990 when the Arfur enclosure was turned into seating. And I’d bet a huge amount of money we’d have been relegated in one of our 5 relegation battles and I’d bet the same amount Parish agrees too.

It doesn't matter when it was but we have had atmosphere before the HF came into being. In any case I was just answering a question from Bar Eagle as to whether I liked a good atmosphere or not. As for your ridiculous assertion that without the HF we would have been relegated it's actually just an assumption as you cannot back it up with facts. I prefer to think the reasons we haven't been relegated are down to Tony Pullis, Alan Pardew in his early tenure, Sam Allardyce and then Roy Hodgson who all got the team playing well enough to stay up.

It has nothing to do with wanting Selhurst to have a good atmosphere. It's about the price to be paid for it And the desire for fairness and equality for ALL Palace fans. Old, young, sitters, standers, constant singers, those who only cheer when entertained, those that have sat in a seat for a number of years, those who buy a paper ticket on the day and those who buy a season ticket.

Yes, I'll ignore your slightly sanctimonious tone, but I don't get why there might be a higher density of 'unsavoury types' amongst the first 10 rows of Block B. Do you really think the HF are any a uniquely criminal group? Not at all. Neither is your claim that you'll find an unsavoury element in any sample of 100 fans anywhere in the ground remotely even close to the truth.

Say you live in a luxury appartment. Say you rent a parking space and pay up front for it at the beginning of each callender year. Say in November the developement officer responsible writes to you to say that because some bloke has a really nice brand new car which looks good in your space and he has asked for your space for next year, where you currently park is no longer available. You are to be moved to the other side of the car park. All hypathetical of course but tell me if you would be happy about that even if you drive an old banger?

They made sufficient noise from their existing seats to attract national attention but, because they can't displace existing season ticket holders because they now want to move, they've spat their dummies out. Therefore, no HF presence at all this season because they didn't get their own way. And they say that they're fans? Where are these people this season? Sitting in the Main Stand sulking? To me, this seems like petulant behaviour.
