But hey, some people simply don't understand why Black Lives Matter isn't All Lives Matter. Put simply, all lives do matter but it's black people whose lives have been treated as less important to date (since the 15th century) and need a greater focus.

Here you are, absorb and then - as you always do - disagree.

The over the top support of a movement started by 2 committed Marxists is what is grating my gears, PL can now suddenly support a political movement (imo that’s what it is)

Will the PL call for a minute silence in respect to the Reading standings? Your call

Did you read the article? If you did and are trying to push this to prove a point you're... well, best not.

Sir, you are not wrong to display this but I have felt for a long time that their cause would have been much better, and much more likely acceptable to a majority of people, if they had added one small word to the mix. That word is 'too'. There would be less ambiguity and the debate would have concentrated on the true issues rather than what lives had been 'ommitted'. However, the BAME hierarchy is always shooting itself in the foot: when Amber Rudd, in all innocence said how she felt for a black woman like Diane Abbot and the struggles she faces, rather than acknowledge her fellow MPs words she apparently chastised her for calling her 'black'. She is apparently a 'woman of colour'. "People of Colour Live's Matter" is not so catchy...As I said, it should have been 'Black Lives Matter Too'.

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

Good post. It is interesting the point regarding black/colour. In my lifetime I have been told not to call people black as they are coloureds, now it appears you can’t say coloured. I have a very good friend who is a Ghanaian body builder ( so what he says you just agree with), on one occasion I called someone “the coloured chap” he laughed and advised I could not say that as he is black. He did appreciate that, in the not too distant past, calling him coloured would have been the correct terminology

Unfortunately it would appear they change what they prefer to be called just as you are getting used to using the previous designation. It’s a very good way of constantly parking you in the slightly racist camp.
