Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Looking at the accounts, we made a loss, 2017-18, because our net transfer spend was £50. 2018-19 it should be in the region of £10. Moreover, we have released more players, permanently, than taken on, 8 out, to 4 in. Also, during the last season more players went out on loan to than that came, 5 against 3. This does not include academy players loaned out or released. Apart from 1 or 2 pay increases, (Wilf) I would have thought our wage bill has actually decreased. This summer 2 players have already gone, with 2 more likely, and 2 or 3 loan players. 5 loanees do return, buts that's it, so I would expect our wage bill to have lowered further. Our income 2017-18 was 150m but spent 184m, (50m net spend on transfers) hence the 34m loss. But deduct 40m from 184, we have, 144m, a profit or 6m if our income remained the same. Given a potential 5% increase in revenue, as seen in 2017-18, then our revenue was 157m. Since we had a longer cup run, I think that is possible. Now, we may still be paying delayed transfer fees, but I have no way of calculating that. So 157m minus 144m, a profit of 13.5m, similar to the season before last.
