Why? All this fuss about milkshakes when an actual MP actually died. Exactly and that was a tragedy that should never be repeated. One person starts with a milkshake cos it's a "larf" and then some other idiot ups the ante. The point as others have made is that this country is run by the consent of the majority. When people start to use violence in elections you start to erode the consent. I don't find this funny and no doubt some pro Brexit idiot will retaliate, where does it end unless all sides condemn it.

I wouldn't say I support it as such - just find it slightly amusing. As is the fact the phrase 'getting milkshaked' has now entered 2019 political discourse ha. I think what I'm trying to say is that I'm not sure I buy into the escalation narrative and think a big deal is being made out of childish pranks when a lot, lot worse has already happen and people like old NF have used language around 'picking up a rifle' if Brexit isn't delivered. He may have been acting alone - but it was a politically motivated murder and he had been influenced by the political environment around him. He was obviously affected by the political environment.....just as these snowflakes throwing milkshakes are. However, there was no actual support for what he did, before or after, that's the difference. I'm not exactly sure what suggestion you have to stopping things like that......I'm just saying we shouldn't be supporting things like throwing stuff at candidates....whether it's an egg at Corbyn or Prescott or a milkshake at anyone else.

There's no way we could compete; even if it is a far superior product then that which the Chinese is producing. That's what tariffs are there to combat. Unfortunately, within the EU, we can't impose them as an individual country.

British Steel collapsing, in part thanks to Brexit uncertainty. Its not solely down to Brexit, but it is a large factor. Who has the balls to go and knock on the front door of a Steel worker in Scunny and expound the virtues of Brexit? Will Farage and Johnson pay their mortgages when they get laid off? The GLOBAL downturn (that began years ago) is taking it's toll on many many industries/sectors..........AROUND THE GLOBE! You're an articulate man but your myopia is there for all to see.
