Nonsense. It's just an over-reaction to change. Things will settle down in time. Common sense will prevail and the pendulum will return to a balance which will see the unfairness of the past recognised. If poor takes were fertilizer, you could cure world hunger.

3 members of staff out of around 30,000? There's always some in any organisation that size who have a gripe. I wish there was a little more misogyny at the BBC at the moment. The number of female voices commenting on both the BBC and ITV on the world cup bores the hell out of me. On ITV yesterday it was 100% female for one game! If we ever start playing mixed football, fine. Until then, no thanks! Strange statement from someone who posted on the copper killed a woman thread !

Yeah, don't get exposed to too many opinions. Just listen to the people that WE approves of, they won't send you wrong.....something, something editors and lawyers. I mean, you might end up not affording your rent, food or heating but at least you'll be blessed with righteous truth. Anything else is a conspiracy theory and Russian misinformation.....especially Hunter's laptop. Damn those pesky insurrectionists! Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Nov 2022 10.50pm)

Wow, that's news! Former Goldman Sachs investment banker, and adviser to Boris Johnson, who is imposed on the BBC as it's Chairman by a Tory government who believe the BBC is biased against them, believes the BBC is biased. What a surprise. The BBC is not biased. That journalists as a group tend to have a social conscience doesn't stop them doing their jobs and maintaining it's objectivity. I have a friend who was a very senior sub editor at the Mail. He is pretty left wing personally and fundamentally disagreed with many of the Mail's political stances and the way it panders to the prejudices of it's readership. That didn't affect the way he did his job. The paper has a house style and he knows how to write copy in it.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

The Greens have had one appearance on Question Time in a year, yet random GB News journalists are rolled out repeatedly. We're still living in complete denial about Brexit and have the state broadcaster basically refusing to acknowledge reality because it might hurt some people's feelings.
