The question is would we be better off changing our style to suit his strengths or play a style that suits other players strengths (counter attack) but diminish our strikers best attributes. I believe we are currently trying to do a bit of both but not doing either so well which is why we usually appear pretty disjointed in attack.

The increased playing time of Meyer and addition of Camarasa should at least start to improve quality and quantity of crosses into the box this season. Once this happens we will really be able to judge whether he'll turn things around after a run off games.

If we did, then i'd agree that we need a fox in the box...but we dont we almost always go wide and then come back in to attack centrally.

I agree that Big Ben is pretty much done now, but I would also say that saturday was perhaps his best all round performance for a season and a half..he won the ball back many many more times than I've seen him do before....so on that basis he at least seems to be fit...

He might be up against 3 central defenders against Sheff Utd.
In the Championship they played this way and were very adventurous with their centre halves coming forward like wing-backs - overlapping central defenders !
Maybe they will not be so adventurous in the PL.
