I suppose in our apparently desperate,cash strapped position,not losing any of our sought after stars,would be deemed a good window,given that we have signed an unbelievable talent,or so we hope in Franca,together with Lerma.

This is the one window where we don't need to sell any of our stars. Many other clubs have had to do so, either because they have FFP problems or because they had key players with only one year left on their contract. If Eze has agreed (albeit it only verbally so far) a new contract then we won't face the need to sell a star next summer either. I'm probably in a minority of one but I see Franca as being the intended long term replacement for Zaha and if he settles quickly he may well prove to be a key player in our first team.
