Come on SP & AP we need some transfer update news after a good start it's all gone quiet over there. The start of the season is 10 days away and it looks like we will have the same problem as last time around, who is going to score those goals ?

The way I reckon, Jamie Vardy'd never played League Football until his transfer to Leicester, and even if it did take him until his fourth year to break out it was damn spectacular when he did. I'm not saying that Ladapo is the next Vardy, but saying a guy can't be quality in the BPL just because he's never played at that level is easy until he makes you look the fool. I say we try and give Ladapo what opportunities can be afforded and hope for the best.

Not strictly true. He managed to use that as the basis for half of the season last year!

Indeed, a large part of the spine of our team over three seasons comprised of players who had no real experience in the EPL.

Ladapo seems to have done well in pre-season, and whilst that's no signifier of how he'll fair in the EPL, doesn't mean if pushed we shouldn't give him a go.

I can't see West Brom releasing Berehino to us before the 13/08, as the transfer window remains open, and its in their interest not to sell us 'our star striker' for the season before we play them.

With only Wickham, I see no reason not to give Ladapo a first game of the season start, or 30-40 minutes.

Anderson has potential no doubt about it, i feel he has the most to offer from our development side but also i think Ladapo deserves a shot before Anderson because if we can catch him while he's good and he puts in a good performance or 2 then that'll really develop his career. Andersons time will come but this may be Ladapo's one true shot.

The First 90 Minutes Are The Most Important!
