Todays first download is a set by Talking Heads that was recorded at the Old Waldorf Theatre, San Fran in 1977. This is in superb quality and is one of the best sounding TH boots that I've heard. The audio is from a pre-fm soundboard so it's exactly as played with no dj's or radio overdubs. This is thoroughly recommended for TH fans..... Todays second download is a short set by Beady Eye. A band which were formed by members of Oasis after Noel Gallagher left. This is a set that was recorded in London for the radio station KEXP in Seattle WA.on 22.2.11. It is in superb quality and is a top sounding boot. Only four songs - I've left a rather long interview in the files - you can delete it if not wanted... One for all Oasis fans... Todays extra download is a very recent one by Mr Pink Floyd himself - Roger Waters. This is a show that was recorded in Arnhem, Netherlands on Monday night just gone. It's a bootleg of his current "The Wall 2011" tour and was the third night he played at this venue. This is an audience recorded bootleg - and as you may know, I rarely touch this type of recording as the quality is usually awful. This is one of the few exceptions to the rule - it sounds great, you do hear the applause at the end of the tracks, but apart from that the fans are listening and quiet - making the music much clearer. This is the best sounding boot to appear so far on this tour - I've yet to see a soundboard or a full FM broadcast of the show.... I have no doubt they will appear shortly.. in the meantime, this is well worth having.... Todays first download is a superb 3 disc bootleg by guitar legend Carlos Santana. This was recorded at the Palast Der Republik in East Berlin in 1987. This is a top notch bootleg by CS and he plays some classic stuff like Samba Pa Ti, Black Magic Woman, Europa and part of the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo. This is a great show... Todays second download is a set by Deacon Blue that was recorded at Newcastle City Hall in 1999. This is in superb quality and is without doubt the best Deacon Blue bootleg that I've heard. Good quality soundboards of this band are very rare - and this is a good one. If you like Deacon Blue, I thoroughly recommended this one. Todays extra download is a set by The Marshall Tucker Band that was recorded in New Jersey in 1981. This is in superb quality and was also broadcast as an FM transmission. This band play southern rock - and they are top notch. I've posted a couple of bootlegs by this band in the past.. this is a top notch sounding show... thoroughly recommended....
