You might have posted that hours ago, it's been lost in the ether along with the rest of your ravings up until about half hour ago. Luckily all the ravings on this site disappear into the ether in time. Speaking of crimping turds I must read your latest posts on the Hodgson thread.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Stop boring us with Trump stuff on the Brexit thread. Edited by Stirlingsays (21 May 2019 5.27pm) I acknowledged it was in an inappropriate but you introduced it and then continued it. I just responded to correct your false statements. Seeking to dismiss facts as "word play" is what is sad but is unfortunately far too frequent an occurrence from hardline Brexiteers who see no merit in any opinion but their own.

I want Parliament to do their job which is to take the decisions on our behalf. If it is their decision to consult the electorate in a referendum (which legally cannot be binding) and then decide to reflect what the electorate say in their own decisions then that is a matter for them. I much prefer that they reach an agreed position in Parliament without the need to do that.

Well the main elections vote normally lower and they get to decide the party(s) in control of the country....the actual referendum which decided we were to leave was actually higher than normal general election votes. 2015 general election 66.1% per cent of registered voters
Your point being what? The election on Thursday is one that no-body wanted to hold to elect MEPs to a Parliament that the apparent leading Party doesn't want to belong to. It's not a GE. Nor a referendum. It's the EU election. It's meaningless.

Oooh! aren't we the authoritative one...Once again, my arrogant friend - just because you think it is so, doesn't mean it is... Edited by Park Road (21 May 2019 6.02pm) No need. I already know very well that just because someone believes something doesn't mean it is true. The evidence for that is scattered throughout this thread. However what I am saying is not just an opinion, or a belief. It is stone cold fact which needs to be repeated time and time again.

Deal or no deal you say, Matov. Please understand that you cannot call for democracy to be respected on one hand regarding the 2016 vote itself, then unilaterally sack off the concept of democracy on HOW we leave the EU. Millions who voted for Brexit did not vote for no deal, end of story. So bringing them a no deal exit, is not respecting democratic principles. The idea was certainly to implement the result of the 2016 vote, the trouble is there are huge and significant differences between no deal and may's deal (just 2 of the options). This was the failure of the 2016 vote, and whoever decided on how that should be run, should probably be hung, drawn and quartered. You think people didnt accept the 2016 vote. I disagree with you, and contest that the 2016 vote was undeliverable. This is the difference between us. If leave wins a second vote, I can guarantee you that I will accept that 1000% as it will have a 2nd question behind it on HOW to leave. So it will be a deliverable vote, unlike 2016. Many remainer politicians have said any vote now would be totally respected either way, as many of the lies (on both sides) have now been exposed, and people are seeing whats going on with British Steel and others. The outcome of a second vote would be leaving the EU according to the desired method as per the vote, or remaining in the EU, if that is now the democratic will of the people. If it is now the democratic will of the people in 2019, to remain in the EU, with all due respect, who are you to tell them they cannot do that? PS whats with the selective replying, if you are gonna reply to a post just include the whole original post? You should’ve been living in Britain straight after the referendum then. Within a few weeks there were calls for another referendum after the frenzy kicked off on social media, with Anna waffling fvcking Soubhry, Paddy Ashdown and Tony Bliar sticking their oats in as well. These people disregarded British voters before and during Brexit. Fvck them. They’re not superior, which is what this really is.

Its nearly 3 years and they havent reached an agrement, your just making things up now. What your suggesting Is a form of dictatorships. The people wanted out, with your rules it couldn't happen.
