How does including an option to Remain, for a second time, settle anything?

I can just about, with a great deal of grudging concession, accept an argument that a vote might have some credibility on say, either Mays deal or no deal. I would still loathe it happening but can concede that there might be some democratic legitimacy to that notion. Still damaging, and an abject failure of Parliament but a case, none the less.

But to have a second stab at Remaining in the EU? No. Absolutely fatal to democracy. Beyond unacceptable and containing within it not only the seeds of potentially a civil conflict that will destroy the Uk as we know it but will be a fully fledged treeling.

We must leave the EU. No ifs or buts. There is no return to the status quo.

Funny isn't it, there has been numerous posters on here saying those that voted to leave have now changed their minds, doesn't look like it does it!
As for those who insist on a 2nd referendum. as most leave voters are stupid, look at the polls, would you respect a leave result? I don't think so, especially Wisbeach as it wouldn't be democratic.
By the way where is Steeleye? gone into hiding?

That's true, but this one will be. There is near zero chance that the Brexit Party won't get the most votes. Farage has played this well, and it's a clear message, well clearer than 'Change'?!?. The Tories will receive another protest vote, much as they did in the local elections, and the remain vote will get split multiple ways because it's unclear where Labour really stands on the issue. Hence why the Lib Dems are getting a bump.
