EFA. Risible tripe with NO foundation at all.
Besides, is it permitted to alter posts in such a disgraceful manner, to give the impression that another poster has written the words ????

Southampton and cpfc Deciding whether to offer the managerial position If LVG goes to Southampton, I'd be happy with Puel, sets up well defensively. Cant see why they'd sack Puel because they are unhappy with defensive football and go on to hire LVG mind.

Southampton finished 8th last season which is very commendable but they finished 6th the previous season under Koeman.Didn't finish the season well, only winning 1 of their last 8 games and that was at Middlesbrough.Really don't know what their plans are but there has been talk of Puel going.

IMHO they would be bonkers to sack Puel and even more off their chimps to replace him with the likes of LVG and *shudder* Giggs, but if they did it and we got Puel as a result that would be fine. And clubs - well, Birmingham City at least - have done stupider things in the past.

Many said the same when they sacked Adkins who had secured successive promotions for them and replaced him with some "Unknown" chap by the name of Pochettino ! Edited by Willo (05 Jun 2017 1.02pm)

Edited by Willo (05 Jun 2017 1.02pm) But its the fact they might replace him with LVG. When they are going after more attractive football, why hire one of the most boring defensive coaches in the game? Nothing comparable to them jumping into the unknown and signing LVG.
