Installing it is not the same as being able to use it. It may well be a good move if legislation changes, especially as it has been incorporated into a new stadium. On the other hand, as we can't afford the proverbial pot to micturate in, it would be flagrant extravagance to spend money on something that, as it stands, wouldn't give us an additional red cent in income.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

You don't need permission to do what Wolves are doing. It is safe standing by proxy and a great move. Similarly it is perfectly legal to allow your fans to stand at matches, as Palace do. Different rules at different grounds, presumably in consultation with local authorities. Utter tripe, Palace have been warned numerous times about the fans persistent standing, even threatening to close that part of the ground.

It’s nowhere near the old ground so no they don’t still have the guy with the coracle. So, even Shrewsbury got a new ground and we got a lease on some 5 a side pitches and some new gates.

Not allowed to use it though are they? It's called a brown envelope. Levy knows all about it.

It's called a brown envelope. Levy knows all about it. Health and safety are government run, audited regularly and their employees of power/influence are watched carefully. Its a massive risk to take a bung on something like that. We're talking jail time if caught so I would not only doubt you quip, I'd dismiss it altogether.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave This post seems reasonably informed and believable in terms of the current legality of standing in seated areas at football matches.

I hardly think it's unheard of for 'payments' to be made in football for things like 'consultancy fees'. I'm glad government Health and Safety representatives sound unlikely to get involved in such things. Let's tell the truth here: I would laugh my tits off if Spurs couldn't use their new ground. So would plenty of others, I presume.
