I would expect the right of right posters on this site to attack Corbyn with impunity. Thus, I will attempt to provide a more balanced centrist approach.

He is even less electable than the last shaved monkey Labour put before the electorate. It doesn't matter whether his views accord with yours or whether he has integrity and honesty. He is simply not statesman material. To avoid languishing in a Michael Foot style political wilderness, you need to swing the swayers. Who on earth would trust a person to lead the country who does not even look business like let alone act it? The unions have shot themselves in the foot.

Again.

Will they never learn?

Amazing, isn't it? I get that they want a left-wing leader, but surely they could find somebody vaguely presentable. The job of leader is essentially a sales pitch, Corbyn couldn't sell water in the desert.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

There's plenty of examples in this thread and a man of your intelligence will be able to find plenty more without really having to look to hard.

JC may not get the rub of the green as far as the media are concerned but that does not justify in anyway the behaviour of his acolytes

All of his acolytes or just a few? The telegraph report doesn't give numbers. It could be 1 or 2 people sending the threats.

If you read my earlier answer, I said I condemned the behaviour.

Corbyn is a clown. And even if he isn't, that is the perception of him. The voting public will never vote in high enough numbers for someone that looks like an angry tramp, never going to happen. Plus, it's common knowledge that he can't control his party, which doesn't bode well in the voters eyes when it comes to writing an X next to a labour candidates name come election day.

Hilary Benn is Labour's best hope of winning an election, if they have anyone but him as leader, forget it. Personally this is why I think Benn called Corbyn to tell him he's a knob and got himself the boot, so he doesn't get as tarred as much with the disloyalty tag as the rest of the quitters, as in most peoples eyes it looks like he was sacked for speaking his mind, even though it sounds like Benn was a bit of a prick to Corbyn's during his reign. I may be wrong but I can see him giving it a go.

You really don't know much about Labour politics do you. John Mann is extreme right wing in Labour terms and there is not a snow flakes chance in hell that he would get support from anyone on the left, least of all Corbyn supporters.

I suspect John Mann will stand once the dust settles, and he could be a very contentious candidate for UKIP - As he's a Brexit Labour MP, and likely to have support from Dennis Skinner and other exit Labour MP's.

There are a few others but that could really throw the cat among the proverbials - as he'd be popular enough with the PLP, a long Eurosceptic, who backed the exit and lefty enough to appeal to the same people who support Corbyn.

I suspect he is as right wing as you, so no surprise there.

What a lot of hot air.

What opposition doesn't win by elections?

I can't take a man seriously who still thinks that nuclear weapons don't have a role to play in strategic defence and wants to give back the Falklands.

It's the same sort of old crap that Michael Foot spouted and look how well that went. They also seem to share the same image consultant.
