As you say above, parliament could go with a no deal, or a proper brexit deal. This is precisely the issue here. There is no democratic foundation between picking one or the other of those 2 options! It was not voted on. It should be voted on. If another vote ever did happen the two options should be Mays deal or no deal. The remain vote has already failed so that needs to be taking out of the equation!

So you confirm what I hinted at. It isn't the fact that there are new people there (which has always been so by the way) but that it is a particular type of new person you object to. Specifically, Muslims. I saw a couple of Muslim women the other day in the local shops part of Caterham hill dressed in full Muslim gear apart from the veil. Another in Tesco car park. I wasn’t pleased and I’m not ashamed to say it. Edited by Rudi Hedman (17 May 2019 12.23am)

I agree with Maine that there are people split across the spectrum of which kind of Brexit, but May’s deal? Farage is right that it’s akin to some kind surrender deal and really quite pathetic. It’s such a shame the rest of the Tories were so cowardly they let her take the reigns. A real waste, but isn’t that what we’ve been doing for decades? Vote for leave so we can drive the country forward with new markets and trading agreements that can grow the small to medium sized British businesses? No we can’t, we have a useless administrator, not a negotiator, without an ounce of charm or personality.

I suggest that you read my replies in the other thread, rather than seek another diversion here. I get the feeling that you are so set in your ways that new thoughts cannot ever enter your mind. As your hero might say. Sad! Clutching at straws here Wisbech. One may think I struck a nerve with you. Who's my hero btw? Or you just don't know when to stop? Now that's what I call really sad! Baby...

If I wanted this I’d live in the Middle East or East London. If I have the choice, and we should, I do not want my area to have many many women, or any women preferably covered from head to toe with only their faces uncovered, or not even their faces. I also do not want anybody looking down on our way of life, or feel uncomfortable or begin to feel like an outsider. It’s nothing to do with them, in our western country. Plus we’ve lost enough pubs. They can do what they like in their own regions of the world.
