“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder |

If we are now doing lost & found has anyone heard from teejay61 who last posted here four years ago. I know that he used to be a season ticket holder and was surrounded by a few people from HOL but I can't find him on social media or indeed anywhere else

To be honest we are more likely to find lost posters than we are new players we actually need. I really, really hope we have some serious irons in the fire otherwise a couple of key injuries and we are in trouble this season.

Leeds target takes one look at the city and say no thanks. I hope when they come to Palace they take them via the West End and Greenwich. "This is South Norwood and over there is Croydon. err we're you going, come back, Pleeease"

"This is South Norwood and over there is Croydon. err we're you going, come back, Pleeease" We should throw in ULEZ compliant cars and say we’ll find them a house that hasn’t got planters at the end of the street or cycle lanes. That should clinch it.

Leeds brings a whole new meaning to the word 'drab'. Whenever Leeds is mentioned I immediately think of dreary East Berlin during the GDR as depicted in the Smiley novels, including 'The Spy Who Came In From The Cold'. I remember reading that they were filmed in Leeds, there could hardly be any location more appropriate.

Ha! I visited the City properly for the first time a few years ago (work related) and was shocked as to firstly how small the city centre was but secondly the amount of homeless. I mean that quite literally, it seemed about 60% of those present were living in a tent somewhere close by, loads of people begging too.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Like Leeds, John Le Carre went down wishing he was still in Europe. In other news of lifeless things, rumours have surfaced we're after Rob Holding.

Just seen the following on the BBC's Gossip page: Liverpool are pushing to sign PSV Eindhoven's Belgian winger Johan Bakayoko, with Everton, Burnley and Crystal Palace also interested in the 20-year-old. (Football Insider) Perhaps this deal/the player is not worthy of any further thought however might indicate we can anticipate an incoming winger before Saturday? Just a thought (and perhaps wishful) from me.
