I stupidly watched some of the BBC Breakfast news this morning - silly me! They were unlikely to stop a Mercedes outside the Ritz and ask them what they thought of the uppity oiks going on strike. Working class people are likely to understand what it's like to have no pay rise for three years. The propaganda war is being won easily by Lynch - which is no surprise against this government. They'd somehow f*** up making a cup of tea, have to sack someone and start an enquiry. The joke is that anyone's still fooled.

what astonishes me is we have had decades of Tory Governments AT THE SAME TIME as a looney-left Globohomo BBC. The Tories talking tough-talk on crime & immigration....while doing nothing. The BBC at total variance with the voting public. For example the Brexit vote.
it's like the two ruling elites, deliberately playing good-cop...bad cop.

Yet, I just don't blame the workers anymore. For one thing their wages are ok, but not exactly making people comfortable these days. Barely anyone's wages do.

I've always thought their agenda along the lines of 70s/80s academics. Everything on the left, good (including Stalin): everything on the right - fascist, Thatcherite, now 'far right' in their parlance.

It is a fine line - I 100% agree with people making money and with Companies doing well - the Capitalist world.

Next you'll be telling us that they have loads of photos of single migrant boat men but only display those with a baby. Edited by Badger11 (24 Nov 2022 7.48am)

The actual deal is that government need to sign off on the pay rises. They also indemnify the rail companies against the strikes. They also pay the upkeep of the infrastructure. The usual con for the taxpayer.
