A quick look on the internet will show you the range of population predictions including the actual range of the one you are quoting. I did that "quick look" and the first page of results ALL referred to the UN report figures. Which is hardly surprising as it's the only really authoritative report on this subject. You can hardly compare it with someone sitting in their bedroom making up numbers from a spreadsheet can you? In short. I think you underestimate the scale and the nature of the problems ahead and you deliberately ignore the reality of the replacement of European people both in Europe and the US. No I am not. You are deliberately overstating the problem to suit your own agenda. It's a real problem and one that needs to be seriously addressed but we must keep things in perspective. Currently, people in Britain use around three times their share of world resources and Americans 5 times. Yes they do. This will need to change. Personally, I'm not for giving up our lifestyle or our genetic heritage to people I don't know just because they have too many children. Having "too many children" is a current feature of culture and ignorance. As countries develop this will diminish, as the UN forecast predicts. You can argue the details all day but I would rather plan to avoid these problems rather than convince myself that everything will just work out OK. Of course we need to plan but we need to plan to deal with what is forecast and not some wild over assertions which would produce over reactions and chaos.

Well it's certainly true that people in third world countries are having a lot fewer children now but the damage for the next couple of hundred years is already done, You are simply in denial about the issues that another 4 billion people will bring in the next 80 years just for starters.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle The problem with any "YouTube" video, or any other kind of "story" on social media is that it is not under and kind of editorial scrutiny, so remains unverified and legally checked by a company lawyer. It can just be put out there. The opportunity to post "fake news" must be obvious. It's this which is being exploited by malign agencies of many different hues as a way to influence those who already have biased opinions. I have no idea whether "James Goddard" has been exploited, or is himself exploiting, his situation in that way, but what is certain is that his video cannot be simply regarded as the "truth". At best it is his version of events, to be listened to and evaluated as to whether you believe him, or not. At worst it's propaganda.

If you want to know why people are using the internet to spread their side of the story then look to the bias and propaganda in mainstream media. For every action, there is a reaction.

No I am not. I fully recognise that we must prepare for the consequences of another 4 billion people and that it is a big challenge. All I have done is to try to keep the task in perspective and not allow the idea that the increase will be double or treble that size to go unchallenged.

If you want to know why people are using the internet to spread their side of the story then look to the bias and propaganda in mainstream media. For every action, there is a reaction. It has nothing to do with population growth. Read the other comments. It's not the people who want to tell their own stories in their own way that concern me. I wrote a blog myself some years ago to share my experiences after being diagnosed with cancer and the wonderful treatment I got from the NHS. It's those who wish to exploit this for malign purposes that concern me. Those who create totally fake identities and spread disinformation under the cloak of being "news". Those who manipulate or support people with particular agendas to do their work for them. The MSM spin their stories for sure. To find the core of any story you need to read both the Mail and the Mirror, or the Telegraph and the Guardian. Do that and you can filter out the spin and come to your own, balanced, conclusion. The difference is the editing. The MSM have controls. They won't publish without verification. They may distort and mislead in the way they present, but they won't generally lie. If they do, it often costs them a bucket of damages. I was once on the fringes of an incident which made headline news in the national papers. The headlines read something like "Boy falls down 300 ft cliff and survives". It was true. He did fall down such a cliff and he walked home. However, he only fell 20 ft. He had climbed up from the bottom. Naughty, but not malicious.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle The 'James Goddard' incident is an example of the double standards and sheer hypocrisy of the establishment. The establishment has been making enemies of communities who previously were its bedrock for compliance from those who hate it anyway and seek its reconstruction.....Now essentially several communities are set against it, more than before. We are heading towards difficult times socially, the framework for that has already been laid out. When the next crash occurs the potential for real disorder and possible change is there.....When that happens, in my view, people like Macron better have a 'get out' plan. The establishment has mismanaged social policy and idealists and appeasers are responsible for the inevitability of what lies ahead.....I couldn't tell you the timeline but what was stable before now doesn't have the same level of support. Yep, I dread to think what my old Grandad would think of the weasels who constitute most of the power players in the UK today. He checked out early eighties and never got to see this pathetic shower.

As I have already told you. The figure of 4 billons for 2100 is the median prediction and is not the peak of population growth. It is not an exact science. Do you actually know what you are talking about? Of course it's not an exact science. It's predictions. Of course a prediction can be wrong, either way. We could just as easily see lower figures. However, whilst you must continually monitor the actual to see if they match the predicted and adjust your responses accordingly, you must plan to meet the most likely outcome and not the worst case scenario. You might need to prepare contingency plans to be able to cope with worst case scenarios but you don't base all your expectations on them. All you are doing is producing doom and gloom when what we need to actually do is be positive and prepare properly. That's why objective, well researched forecasts are made and not just ignored because they don't happen to fit your narrative.
