Stuart Green gets my vote. To me he sums up the whole reign of Peter Taylor. Ineffective, boring, and just plain disapointing.

Uh? Bloody good player when given a chance. Scored a healthy ratio of goals to games, including a splendid effort at home to Cardiff. You obviously weren't around in the mid-80s when we had the likes of Stebbing, Bason, Price etc.

How about a pair of pink sidewinders and a bright orange pair of pants ....

On the subject of Adebola - I thought this was funny as the music was kind of meant to represent him as a player.

Funny to see a few people nominated Julian Speroni early on in the thread.

Whatever happened to him?

Impossible to name just one......there's been so many.

You need to do this in DATE order.

Here's a few from pre 90's.

Pick any from the following:

Per Bartram
Derek Posse
Trevor Aylott
Tommy Langley
John Lacy
Mick Hill

He wins it hands down for me. Played in the 70's up front, skinny bloke with a tash. He couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo!

Tomas Brolin
Kevin Miller
Ade Akinbiyi
Gareth Taylor

Or the players that Taylor signed (Apart from Cort and Fonte, his ONLY decent signings!).

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

Did anyone mention Marco Gabbiadini? I can hardly spell his name - but I am sure he was probably eating my words as I typed them. His training at Palace must have consisted of kicking empty Pizza boxes around. He couldn't score a goal to save his life and I think he was a couple of million. A true "Son of Aylott".
