Agreed.

This is true, but can anyone honestly say that they had ever heard of him before he signed for Palace?

Definitely. I remember watching him on the telly on a number of occasions. But he got much better with us.

If we lose Guehi Eze and Olise, that will not be good at all.

Yep. Pretty sure that scenario was not mentioned to Glasner before he signed on the bottom line

If Eze & Guehi being sold, but we keep Olise and Mateta adding a few more players good enough to walk straight into the team. We should be well equipped for an awesome PL season...

Its the arrogance of these so called bigger clubs that annoys me. They leak a story that they'd be prepared to offer one or two of their 'stars' in exchange for Olise and act like they're doing us a favour! What they are actually attempting is to sign one of the best players in the Prem right now on the cheap while getting rid of rubbish they dont want. I imagine they think we're such idiots and they are so clever.....IF they were to pull it off.

Yes agree with that , lets face it if they were any good they would keep em . Then to add insult to it they stick on a 25 percent sell on clause on the contract just in case Glasner turns them into worldies , they can f*** off with themselves and keep their over rated blue bottle jobs .

Parish and Freedman aren’t mugs and won’t get fooled into taking on some of Chelsea’s many under-performing cast offs. We all know how it works. Their media mates try to big them up for ‘market’ but they’re fooling no one.

I watched France last night. I can see why they didn't select Olise. He would have spent the whole event bench warming. They seem to play with strength and speed. Im not sure Olise's sublime skills are what France is all about. I can't see them putting him on the pitch ahead of Dembele.

Sadly for England, the same bench warming is probably the case for Eze and Wharton.
I dont think anyone realises the impact Wharton would have on our central play. It would transform the system.
And as for Eze, well if we want to stand a chance of winning, put him on the pitch. He will do the rest.

Given the top 6 bias, the emphasis is on why oh why no Grealish.

Of course, the true emphasis should be that Wharton is obviously the pairing answer for Rice and not Trent. And, given they play together and that Eze could dribble his way through concrete, why don't they play him instead of Foden?

If they do stick with him, I hope Foden will improve and not do a Rooney and excel all season just to come off the boil for our summer tournaments.

Yeah, even his mum said "Who the hell are you" when he walked through the back door

Completely agree on Wharton as I am sure all palace and Blackburn fans are thinking the same thing. That said……perhaps the less they play is better for us so they are rested for Brentford.
Serbia were rough and so now we have that out the way hopefully Wharton will get a start in the final group game or Denmark. We all know he is good enough, give TAA one games rest and we will never look back
