Roy Hodgson’s record with Palace against Chelsea is very poor. Does he believe he can win this one? Forest’s win against Newcastle, and especially away from home, shows what you can achieve if you show ambition and belief. So let’s see some of it instead of the usual fear. Time to unleash the Brazilian (for more than five minutes)!

Seen to remember the catalyst for his first stint as manager was an unexpected win at Chelsea. Let's hope for the same tomorrow. COYP.

Should we share the spoils at Chelsea, the wailing and lamentation could subside to a degree.
A victory will be akin to manna from heaven.
An abject defeat and I suspect Mr Hodgson will be placed into the pillory and be subjected to a lacerating attack.

We actually beat Chelsea 2-1 at HOME in Mr Hodgson's 4th PL game in charge of our club.

We have lost every game at Chelsea since Mr Hodgson was handed the reins.

Three points above the relegation zone. This is where the fun starts.

With respect, your idea of fun and that of my very own are at variance to a significant degree.
Nerves will be frayed like an old tow-rope.

The resurgence of Luton Everton and Forest mean I’m afraid that it’s going to be tight til the end of the season. Unless we have some massive improvement in form which seems unlikely.

Just need Doucoure back and Eze and Olise to stay fit and buy or loan a fantastic Right Back in January…oh and replace Roy.

If Everton had not been deducted 10 pts we would be even deeper in the mire.

An abject defeat to Chelsea tomorrow and I suspect our supporters will be waving the white handkerchiefs as they do in Spain, whilst bellowing out "Fuera".

Luton win again. Nottm Forest win. Even Burnley win at Fulham. Burnley and Sheff Utd remain favourites for relegation. But we are now in the mix with Nottm Forest and Luton. The odds on us being relegated have been plumetting and we are now around 8/1. Not good.

The right place at the right time

If all the key players stay fit we will bot get relegated, but can you gamble on that, i wouldnt, 2/3 loans, or i would take 20m plus Nketiah for Guehi.

Ha ha ha. you keep on banging on about Nketiah, are you his agent? Edouard is a better player this season, and he plays for Palace, who create few chances. Nketiah plays for league leaders Arsenal, work it out yourself.

I suspect we might not actually find ourselves in the relegation zone but will be perilously close to it.

There are those who are of the opinion that Mr Hodgson will not be at the helm at the start of the year.

Willo -your post was a reply to mine saying that we would be in the zone by new year.
As you stated we won't be far away, although two wins starting tomorrow would change the picture somewhat!
Only Sheffield Utd are doomed in my opinion, the rest of us are in a dogfight which we are ill equipped for.
I don't want Cooper but I don't want Roy either.
Maybe this is the season that undoes us?
Make or break time me thinks!!
