We should consider Sam right away. After the gunners, we have several winnable matches. We need 10-13 points in the last 10, assuming nothing from this Sat game. 3 wins and 1-3 draws gets us another year in the sun. If we can’t achieve that, then we need to look at the players. Our squad should be good enough to get those results.
The bigger picture is next year. The sad fact is the EPL has become an arms race. Steve Parrish saved the club, and will always be a hero, but in these times he is sorely lacking. More investment is a must for survival, even at the mid table level.

Who in his right mind would want the job. Below average players and a board that has been doing things on the cheap for years. Time has caught up with Zaha, Ayew, Luka, Ward, Clyne, Jimmy Mac, and Schlupp all at the same time, the two strikers are not good enough. P V has been performing miracles in my opinion.
