Steve (as that's obviously who you are) we are all grateful for saving the club and for what you've achieved in the last ten years but it's time for you to retire and for someone with deeper pockets to take over as we are currently only heading one way and that's back to The Championship

You do have to admit that we are starting to exhibit some of the characteristics of African national teams.
Lots of athleticism and flair, but ineffectual when up against real quality. The Premier League is full of quality, and we do not appear to have the tactical awareness or striking striking quality to unlock defences.

It comes down to a lack of recruitment of quality strikers, too many players who don't know when or how to pass a ball, and a manager who doesn't seem to have many ideas.

I didn't go yesterday but it's disppointing to read that Olise was so poor.

I'd (perhaps foolishly) started to believe that he and Zaha might dig us out of the slump we're in.

Aside from these two I don't see where any quality is coming from.

Ahamada's appearance doesn't sound encouraging either.

Lots of problems in squad quality, depth, experience and balance, but what has struck me recently is that the team dynamic of playing for each other has totally evaporated. Overpaid, under-motivated, playing firstly for themselves, not the team or the club. That might be harsh and perhaps not the reality, but that is how it looks. Then a manager who might know that, but then (apparently) forces the coach who might have said that out loud, to leave, suggests we have a real problem that can't be fixed without making changes in the back office. It may not be PV's doing, but doesn't look like he has the capacity to resolve the dressing room dynamic on and off the pitch.

Before you carry on digging, please tell me which players have an Afro-Caribbean background and what their background implies in their attitudes and behaviours.

By the way, is there a reason why you misspelt Johnny Byrne’s name? Given recent posts you certainly look ‘dubious’.
