Absurd.

One Black manager in the PL is roughly representative of the population.

Playing football and managing players are totally different skills.
Only a tiny proportion of White players become managers.

I'm sticking with PV for the time being, we need a good summer in the transfer market and look at things at Christmas. I hope Zaha stays and we get in CB,RB,ST and maybe upgrade Mitchell.

Why is it Textor's fault? We have two more Americans as well as an English shareholder / director so why is all the invective aimed at the one shareholder who has actually put his hand in his pocket?

Yet he did his badges, came through the coaching system at Man City, coached a top US team (joke league) and a decent French team. Not the worst CV in the premier league tbh.

If Shaun Derry hadn't had the playing career he did, he wouldn't have been in the job he was at Palace. It certainly wouldn't have been on the back of his management credentials.

I think that's a valid point. Parish can be too loyal sometimes.

I've noticed the complaints around Social Media, loyalty to ex-players, other ventures so on and so forth which tbh will always be subject to scrutiny if the playing side of things isn't great. I prefer to see it in a positive light as 'A Palace fan trying to promote a unified club with a shared culture for the benefit of the club' as opposed to anything else but on my less than happy days have fallen into this trap. I agree however I feel as though Parish has worked hard on the culture at the club which can occasionally be interpreted as something other than good intent.

I've noticed the complaints around Social Media, loyalty to ex-players, other ventures so on and so forth which tbh will always be subject to scrutiny if the playing side of things isn't great.

I prefer to see it in a positive light as 'A Palace fan trying to promote a unified club with a shared culture for the benefit of the club' as opposed to anything else but on my less than happy days have fallen into this trap.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I'm also inclined to agree with this point of view Nick. On the whole he has done a great job at the Palace and I hope he gives PV the opportunity to persevere during this period of learning so we continue to grow and become consistently successful.
