He was invited.

And he could have said no thanks if I am not going to be allowed to sit at the big table with the adults.

Surely to be invited and then more or less publicly diminished is the opposite of what should have happened? The whole thing struck me as another example of the pettiness and dysfunctionality of the Royal family. "We'll invite you because that's what one's expected to do, but you can swing in the wind once you're here". Like I said, I don't care but for me, not a good look. With a family like that, it's not hard to understand Harry's pysche.

Charles now saying he didn't want to invite him! Blimey.

You certainly have a point, his own son.

I could see Harry as a King actually, he has a Henry VIII look about him.

King Charles is hardly going to win any battles, and as for Camilla, she may tell you how to re-cycle your tea-bags.

I thought he didn’t want to stay so as to get back for his child’s birthday. But there again, last year he apparently missed the birthday to attend a polo match, so who knows what the real reason is. But I’m sure Harry can get another book out of his half a day’s attendance at the Coronation…

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

Probably.

But at least you win battles and have the odd wife or two, or six.

According to this guy His Madge has quietly abdicated.
Even if only half of what he's saying is true, there's gonna be some changes around here!

There are literally tens of times the royal family was changed - if they didn't they would truly trace their heritage back to Alfred, which is clearly rubbish. Cnut was king FFS. He was a Viking. The Tudors had no actual royal blood and take one look into the Norman kings and the Plantagenets. Later on William of Orange and George III were nowhere near in line to the throne. If Charles goes then it will be likely William - which I believe would be a positive thing. However, having looked into Charles a bit over the years, the only way he'll abdicate is if he's dying, and frankly I wouldn't even expect it then. He's always wanted it.

I managed to watch 2 minutes and 40 seconds.

Complete anti royalist claptrap. You know I like a conspiracy, but the fact that he is an Australian should be all you need to know.

It's fairly common knowledge that royal ancestry doesn't join up all the way back to William the First or who ever you feel like choosing.
Even Victoria has a flimsy claim to the throne.

Of course Royalty is silly, but it's better than President Sunak or Sheik someone or other.

I have no issue with it. I was countering this 1603 and 1567 rubbish - I've heard it all before. I'm a Tudor historian. I always hear that crap and wanted to point out how meaningless it is. A Sheik sounds alright though - we can all be rich and drive around in luxury cars. Not drinking though - won't work for me.
