Typical

You’ve always liked to look down on Croydon.

Pretty much.

From the lofty heights of Wisbech.

Webb Estate in Purley and Bishops Walk I think it’s called at the top of Gravel Hill. Whether people sound posh there or not I don’t know. Not many below a certain age sound like Hyacinth Bucket or Jacob RM these days anyway.

I live in West Purley but to be honest Purley is currently a large building site at present with local MP having a finger in other pies. We have had a few offers for our house and like many in Purley could put up another house here (but wouldn't). Croydon is in the process of being taken apart but not being put together again (at least not properly). I lived in West Norwood/Dulwich borders from a young age (Lambeth) but that seems better run than Croydon now and whether a Tory mayor and a Labour council would work better I couldn't say.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

The blatant corruption in the Croydon council planning department is jaw dropping.

Croydon Council are truly shocking. I had to deal with them for a number of years when I worked at Croydon nick. The corruption and goings on there was terrible... They even made the Met look innocent!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

BLM & Slavery atonement activists.

When they drive their nice car through Tulse Hill, past some dishevelled Ukranian refugees will they be mumbling ''there's some more of those white devils'' ?

This poor individual clearly doesn’t have a clue as do most of you on this post lol!!

I live in Bristol where they are trying to erase the name of Colston from the face of it. He of statue chucked in water fame. There were schools, the biggest concert hall, roads etc. all (or almost all) now changed.
