Don't get too excited about the transfer window this Summer. We have no money,Connor Gallagher goes back to Chelsea and Macca will be another year older.

Nketiah plus one or two other youths who are not quite ready.

Darren Ambrose on talksport said two weeks ago that palace fans will be excited by the transfer window in the summer.

I was expecting a defeat so I am happy with a point.

Why? Brentford had lost their previous five games so we should have been able to extend their losing run

Just viewed Patrick's post match interview and I think the good thing is that he mentioned all the things that we have all said in relation to the game including being to slow in possession.

The refreshing thing is that he was not happy about the performance and did not try to sugar coat it.

I'm so Palace I don't even know it

Totally agree should only sign players from CHELTENHAM,DERBY or THE NATIONAL league

Lol.

Could we stretch to signings from THE SADDLERS (Walsall FC)? Or MANE from Liverpool?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Because we have always got a mistake in us, Geuhi nearly got caught out with that hand ball thing again like he did at Leeds in injury time. I said in my prediction it would be like the Norwich game, but a bit worse and true to form it was.

It’s a shame our best chance fell to Ayew and he blasted wide when well placed. Still we have a free hit against Chelsea next!

Any consolation I thought that was a foul on Zaha, their defender clearly had both hands around him pulling him back.

Best front 3 is Eduard Mateta and Olise but as another poster has said Olise needs a better RB than Ward to unleash his flair. Good to see MacArthur back

All this talk of protecting Ward is wrong. If football at Palace has come to not playing our best talented player because our right back is too poor then we may as well go back to Roy ball.
I would rather pay to watch Olise do his magic than Ayew defend. Olise is on a different level and if we are going to progress as a club he should be starting every game.
This defensive talk and playing Ayew over Olise is a bloody joke.

Besides which, Ward was no better yesterday than at Norwich. So why is Ayew helping. If we really want Ayew for his heart then stick him in the middle as striker.

Didn't see the game only MOTD what on earth was Guehi doing with his hand up. I think CG told him that, we were lucky not to give away a penalty.

Yes, I thought the Guehi pen call could have gone the other way, and was worried that VAR looked at it for quite a long time. But why was the pen call for the foul on Wilf at the end dismissed so quickly? It was far more of a pen than the notorious Liverpool pen that Friend and Lawson gave. They looked at the incident about 20 times before giving it. Surely the Wilf incident was worth more than cursory look? It was certainly one of those that would have been given as a foul anywhere else on the pitch. Maybe the ref was so p*ssed off with Wilf's moaning previously that he wasn't going to give him anything in the area, no matter how blatant.
