I was going to say the same, especially the first paragraph. We started off well and it was only when it got to Wilf did we lose the ball often. Wouldn’t surprise if we watch the first two goals back that at least one came from him losing the ball. He’s passing was abysmal let alone control and taking players in. He should apologise to those fans that made a hard journey to Spurs today as well as the other 10 Palace players alongside him. Grrrr!

A Spurs mate who went was updating me throughout the game. He sent me a text after 20minutes saying zaha “is not up for this game” he doesn’t want it at all.

That’s a Spurs fan seeing his attitude and letting me know that Wilf seemed like he didn’t want to be in the pitch after 20 minutes.

Is that really relevant? Having been given a yellow for a soft foul, Zaha ought to know that the last thing he should be doing is giving the referee the option to give him another yellow. His behaviour for that 2nd yellow was childishly stupid and totally unnecessary.

Wilf was a disgrace today. No point bringing him back for the West Ham game (assuming it goes ahead) as he won't be around for the following few games in January.

Relevant in ad much as 2nd would only be a yellow
. Skipp’s foul?

People are getting confused with the offside rules. If the passing player passes the ball behind them, which he did, then it doesnt matter about where the defender is. Similar to a thrown in, where you cant be offside, you cant be offside if the ball is played backwards to you.

I don't think that's true. I think the ball was played square. It looked offside. No doubt we will find out later!

Yes, I too thought that Son was ahead of the ball when it was played.

There were certainly no other Palace players between him and the goalkeeper.

Brilliant to see Ferguson get some game time. Really looking forward to seeing him get in shape and cement his place in our back line.

OK, he struggles to control his temper, but we owe him so much.

Do we? How many here earns £½m each month and then fails to deliver?

Make no mistake, he owes us so much.

You are right, it is sad that we are criticising his current form and actions. But Wilf gives us all the ammunition to do just that.

Can’t help wondering if the petulance comes from knowing he’s no longer the fan’s favourite and team megastar. That crown is now Gallagher’s. Wilf maybe isn’t relishing the downgrade!

Does Son always score when he plays against us or does it just feel as if he does? Has he scored more against us than Mane, who also seems to find the net whenever?

What do people feel about the system we play? I wasn't at the match and I'm just using the information from the BBC, which might not be accurate. It has us set up in a 4-3-3 formation. Is that something that is set in stone? I assume it's PV's favourite, but should the system not be determined by the personnel available? I assume in practice they look at moving from one system to another during a game, as circumstances dictate. If Spurs set up 3-4-2-1, can 4-3-3-be the right response?

Grateful for any help with this one and Merry Christmas all.

Easy to see why every non-Palace fan hates Wilf. He is even pissing off his own fans now. Needs to realise he is losing it and needs to start working harder or any legacy he leaves may start to unravel.

Bolasie was always the better player and Wilf only shone when he left for Everton. He definitely does not have the attitude to be in a Team of multiple talented attackers. Which is super frustrating when he acts like a petulant child that hates his Teammates when he’s the only good one but as soon as theres a Bolasie/Gallagher/Eze he goes into hiding because he wants to the only child when those players could so easily elevate Wilf's overall game. It’s why he failed at United when really his raw skill should’ve been complemented by the likes of Carrick/Rooney/Van Persie etc.

Don't want to start a new thread.... BUT where is Guaita and why is he not playing.

I'm probably missing something.
