I wonder if shes a hard court or grass player? She can obviously do both, but they usually prefer one over the other, she certainly looked good on the hard court. Shes home in Bromley now, must be surreal after 3 weeks away, she needs a couple of days to just sit with folks and let it sink in.

This girl is exceptional. She speaks Chinese and probably Rumanian. She speaks the Queens English and she is already at 18 a world champ in a major sport. She is really very special. She said that she loved grass court tennis for its traditions (ie 3 out of the 4 majors used to be on grass and Wimbledon remains the greatest tourney of them all) but she was brought up on hard courts, and has played most of her tennis on hard courts; consequently hard court is her best surface.
